Free Calculators for Corporate Event Planning

Three planning questions that come up on nearly every corporate brief, answered with the arithmetic and the sources shown. Free, immediate, and usable without an account.

Published · Updated

Each calculator publishes its method. Where a figure comes from a manufacturer, it is linked in a Sources block on that page; where a figure is a convention rather than a measurement, the page says so and prints the convention.

There is no login, no email gate and no “enter your address to see the result”. Every reference table is in the page itself, so it works with JavaScript switched off and can be read, printed or quoted without running anything.

Three Calculators, No Sign-Up

  • How long will the balloons stay up?

    Balloon Float Time Calculator

Manufacturer-published hold windows for latex, foil and Bubble balloons — treated and untreated, indoor and outdoor — plus a plain verdict on whether to install the day before or the morning of the event.

  • What size installation does my space need?

    Installation Size Calculator

Measure the doorway, stage, storefront or photo wall and get the garland run in linear feet, the arch span, the backdrop size, the column count and an approximate balloon band — with the arithmetic shown openly.

  • How many photo backdrops do I need for N guests?

    Photo Moment Calculator

Turn guest count and event length into photo groups per hour, the throughput of one 8-foot backdrop, and the number of photo stations that keeps a queue from forming. Every assumption is on the page and editable.

Why the Numbers Are Published Rather Than Quoted

A planner comparing suppliers cannot check a figure that arrives inside a quotation. The same figure with its arithmetic attached can be checked in a minute, which is the only reason to publish it at all.

So the float-time page cites Qualatex and the HI-FLOAT Company for every duration and says plainly where no manufacturer figure exists. The sizing page prints its formula and labels its density figures as conventions rather than standards. The photo-moment page makes every assumption an editable input.

None of the three claims a Balloon Décor operational figure, because none has been published. Where an answer depends on a specific venue, the pages say to ask for a site-specific answer instead of showing a number that would only look precise.

The completed work behind these pages is in the corporate event décor portfolio, and the services they support are set out under corporate event décor for San Francisco and Bay Area companies.
